The moment you step inside, the restaurant strikes you as bright and clean, setting a pleasant stage for your meal. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the service, which is consistently above expectation. Our server, Ony, was a highlight—attentive, prompt, and always wearing a genuine smile that makes you feel truly welcome. You don't just leave satisfied; you leave with a smile. Now for the food. The menu offers a depth of traditional flavors, but two dishes stood out as true must-tries. The al pastor tacos were a lesson in masterful simplicity: perfectly seasoned meat on a fresh tortilla—simple, yet incredibly flavorful. But the true star was the quesabirria. Served with a rich consome for dipping, the combination of tender meat, cheese, and grilled tortilla was nothing short of perfection. El Farolito Jr. is a necessary stop for anyone seeking an authentic, delightful, and memorable dining experience in Orange County.

These Tacos Are Stacked Like They Know Your Soul Needs Healing I do not usually say this, but El Farolito Jr in Anaheim might just be the undisputed taco champ of North Orange County. The Al Pastor Tacos? Ridiculous. Stacked to the sky with perfectly seasoned meat. I had to pause mid bite just to process how generous they were. Most places give you a sad scoop. These folks go all in. And it is not just the tacos that hit. That salsa bar is a full blown flavor playground. Everything pickled, everything spicy, everything delicious. It is the upgrade you did not know your plate needed. We got a cheese and carne asada quesadilla, and my son, an eight year old quesadilla connoisseur, said it was the tastiest he has ever had. Melty, beefy, grilled just right. Even the chicken nuggets and fries for my daughter hit way harder than expected. And the chicken and cheese enchiladas with green sauce? Do not sleep on those. Just like the tacos, they were stacked with meat. Every bite was bold, savory, and comforting. Inside, El Farolito Jr has that cozy old school charm. Kind of like a homey saloon with TVs and a lively energy. You walk in and feel like a regular from the start. Service was welcoming. Prices? Way better than expected for how much food we got. You leave full, happy, and not even mad at the check. Q: What should you order at El Farolito Jr? A: The Al Pastor Tacos are a must. They come up in almost every single review, and for good reason. Insane portions, full flavor, and made with love. Q: What else do people recommend? A: Reviewers also go wild for the Chile Relleno, Menudo, and the Campechana Burrito. If you are hungry enough, stack the order. Pro Tips: • Show up early. This place fills up fast. • Hit the salsa bar hard. It is packed with flavor bombs. • Portions are huge. Come hungry or bring backup. Final Word: This is not just a taco spot. It is a full on flavor experience. If you are anywhere near Anaheim and you skip El Farolito Jr, you are missing out. Get in there and thank yourself later.

My all time favorite place to grab some great tacos because not too many restaurants have great tacos and this place has been around for as long as I can remember. This time I went in and ordered to go. I placed my order and went to the taco guy on the other side so I could get my order from him. Everyone is friendly. The service is great, front parking a little small but they also have some parking in the back. They do have an outside patio. Inside the location it's clean and they're salsa area is always clean and full as in they have everything for your tacos; cilantro and onion each on their own containers and not mixed like in many places, limes, radishes, and three kinds of salsa. They do have other dishes on their menu, my parents enjoy their tortilla soup. Oh let me tell you they have a margarita flight as well. So if you're around stop by, they're off the 91 freeway.
